Rock Bottom Review: Ronnie James Dio

Launching a New Production this year called "Rock Bottom Review" an hour long program focusing on band/artist featuring music including documentary/interview audio. This first show features A tribute to the Godfather of power metal vocalist/songwriter Ronnie James Dio spanning his whole incredible career featuring mostly live recordings including tracks from one of his last performances at Wacken 2010.

Ronnie James Dio 1942 - 2010 vocalist and songwriter. He performed with, amongst others, Ronnie Dio and The Prophets, Ronnie and the Redcaps, Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell, and his own band Dio. Other musical projects include the collective fundraiser Hear 'n Aid. He was widely hailed as the most powerful singer in heavy metal, renowned for his consistently powerful voice and for popularizing the "devil horns" hand gesture in metal culture. Prior to his death, he collaborated on a project with former Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Vinny Appice, under the moniker Heaven & Hell, whose first studio album, "The Devil You Know" released April 28, 2009.
Dio died of stomach cancer on May 16, 2010 at 67 years young he will be sorrowfully missed but his music and voice lives on forever.
