Audio collage, montage and music tribute to the greatest stand-up comedian of all time. William Melvin "Bill" Hicks born on December 16, 1961 a comedian, philosopher, musician, critic and truth teller Bill was one of the rare people who truly exercised his freedom of speech to speak truth to power while making us laugh and think.
Featuring selected material from his from his albums, bootlegs, film and music as well as clips from the great documentary American: The Bill Hicks Story with Members of his family and close friends talking about Bill's life and his death due to pancreatic cancer in 1994.
Also music dedicated to Bill from Tool and Hamell on Trial ending the program with my "It's Just A Ride Mix" with music by Unkle.
With the exception of George Carlin I've not heard of any other comedian come close to what Bill did. Mr Hicks you will always be my HERO.
